Lexmark on Tuesday announced the release of 12 new workgroup color laser printers and MFPs. All of the new models—part of Lexmark's X792, C792, X925, and C925 lines—feature a color touch screen that can be customized and enables users to access and manage their documents.

They also come with Markvision Enterprise, a browser-based device management software for IT administrators that give them better visibility in managing their printer devices.
The Lexmark X792 color laser MFP models have a large, 10.2-inch touch screen with a print preview feature that lets users select documents or find specific pages within a document. The touch screen offers new interactive sensory features to guide the user. The X792 models have a claimed print and copy speed of 50 pages per minute, and all six models can be configured with additional input/output options and advanced finishing capabilities. Lexmark also makes much of the fact that the X792 series is the only device in its class to offer hole-punch finishing capability. Prices for the X792 series range from $4,499 to $6,349.
The single-function version of the X792, the C792 color laser printer line, includes the only 8.5- by 11-inch color laser in its class to feature a touch screen. There are four configurations of the C792 available, and like the X792, offers other media handling and input/output options. Prices for the C792 models range from $1,349 to $2,999.
For those who need to print 11-by-17-inch color documents, Lexmark has the X925 and C925 Series, in addition to its existing C35 and X945 color laser devices. The X925de color MFP has a 10.2-inch touch screen, and the C925de color printer has a 4.3-inch touch screen. The X925de retails for $5,849, while the C925de retails for $2,399
